W.MJ. Fernando & Co. has commenced the business as importers of Plywood Sheets in the year 1959. Having made a remarkable progress by the year 1991, the company was converted to a private limited liability company. Mr. Nimal Shelton Fernando was the founder and the Chairman / Managing Director of the company up to the time of his demise in the year 2004. Mr. Malinda Fernando took over the position of the Chairman / Managing Director of the company in the year 2004 and serves to-date. Since 1959, company has achieved a phenomenal growth in spite of political & economic uncertainties prevailed, through large scale marketing campaigns and fostering long-term customer relationships with effective marketing strategy.
